Since opening our doors in 1946, at Truitt and White we’ve worked hard to gain and maintain the trust and reputation for delivering superior customer service and construction expertise to the professional builder. Over the years, we have had the honor of receiving recognition from an array of different organizations for these efforts. Last October, at the Seventh Annual Pro Dealer Conference held in Florida, we were fortunate enough to receive the distinction of being named the 2003 Independent Pro Dealer of the Year.

Truitt and White was given the award for enjoying double-digit sales growth in a market with little new home construction and aggressively growing its business through door, window and millwork sales. Competing against other independent dealers nationwide, the award capped the conference in which Dan White, vice-president and chief financial officer of Truitt and White, participated in several panel discussions.

"This is a great industry," says White, "We provide housing and shelter for people, and that’s something very special."

Redoubling our efforts to exceed our customer’s expectations, we hope that we’ll continue to provide the quality service and products we’re known for. While formal recognition such as the PDYA is nice, the daily satisfaction of seeing our customers happy is the greatest reward.
