Good news on UltraTouch!

If you read Building Ideas earlier in the year or if you tried to purchase UltraTouch from us, you know the frustration – both yours and ours.

In a nutshell, the product was immensely popular with our builder customers but the manufacturer couldn’t keep up with the demand.

Good news. Bonded Logic has stepped up production of their UltraTouch product, which will mean that we can stock it with more consistency. “The big plant is up and running like it is supposed to run,” says Truitt & White’s John Niemeier.

UltraTouch has been a popular seller for Truitt & White. Builders like it because they can offer their customers an environmentally friendly insulation product. Made from high quality natural fibers that help provide for effective sound absorption and maximum thermal performance, UltraTouch also doesn’t cause itching and is easy to handle and work with.

In addition to improved availability, the manufacturer also recently announced new changes to the product. Each bundle delivered to Truitt & White will contain from one to three batts that are perforated along their length. “This will allow the installer to tear length wise, enabling them to more easily fill narrower openings,” adds John.

Sixteen-inch batts will be perforated to yield 4” and 12” widths. The 24” batts will be delivered perforated down the middle, giving installers two 12” batts.
