BPL from United Bio Lube

We are now carrying BPL, a bio-penetrating lubricant that’s an effective and healthy vegetable oil-based alternative to the old petroleum-based standby. This non-toxic alternative is a high performing, anti-corrosive product that has been government approved and is currently a favorite among the U.S. military, federal agencies, and manufacturing industries. Our customers are big fans as well. “We use it on doors, power tools, locks, gates, hinges, hand tools, just about anything,” says Dave Grubb, a long-time Truitt and White customer. “It’s odorless and it’s a lot healthier for the clients, their kids, their pets and our crew.”

New Trex options: New colors and textures

With the constant shifts in the building industry, we are always on the alert to keep up with and bring you the best and newest building products.

One of these latest changes is an updated decking product from Trex. With the exception of the 2x6 - 16 footers, we have swapped our entire inventory to 5/4x6. The new 5/4x6 stock is now produced with reversible surfaces—smooth on one face (the Origins line) and textured on the other (the Accent line). We’ll continue to offer the decking in both Madeira and Winchester Grey and have added the popular Saddle to our inventory.

“The new size makes it easier and faster for a builder to install, while offering their clients a better selection of colors and more texture choices,” says Lee Rutledge, Truitt and White. “Over the past year there’s been a growing demand for the Accent line, and we expect this demand to really take off during the upcoming deck-building season,” adds Lee.
