Facilities Improved to Increase Customer Convenience and Service
A series of recent improvements at Truitt & White – in the store, warehouses, and operational procedures -- has created a more efficient and convenient experience for our clients. Tools, Fasteners and Paint departments have all been reconfigured to enhance service and product selection, and now our full range of Support Services are consolidated in one area to make it easier for both customers and suppliers.
Tools and Fasteners – Reorganized for Convenience
In the revamped Tool Department, customers will find a larger area that accommodates more accessories, hands-on demonstrations and helpful staff members attending a dedicated service counter. The adjacent Fasteners Department features the building industry's most trusted brands, like Simpson Strong-Tie, which has an expanded and retooled section that offers customers a vast inventory of joist hangers, rafter ties, straps, hold-downs and more. Great service and expert advice are never far away, as the Tool and Fasteners Departments are now stationed next to the Contractor's Office.
The New Full-Service Paint Center
The completion of Truitt & White's expanded paint department marks a transition to a full-service paint center, stocked with everything contractors, painters and homeowners require to get their jobs done. The new Color Preview Center offers a full array of color chips and mix-and-match tools, as well as a seating area reserved for consultation.
A broader selection of paints, stains, finishes and accessories -- grouped for easier, more efficient access – represents Truitt & White's commitment to helping builders and remodelers find what they need, when they need it, from a single source. Expanded offerings include a variety of leading green products.
Green Products from Benjamin Moore Paints
New environmentally friendly product lines from Benjamin Moore Paints, Natura and Aura, provide a competitive edge to builders and remodelers seeking to excel in the emerging green building market.
Natura, an interior waterborne paint, emits lower total volatile organic compounds (VOC) than any other national zero-VOC product, and exceeds the environmental-safety criteria set forth by LEED and Green Seal standards. It dries fast, has excellent adhesion and provides a durable finish, so there's no compromise in terms of performance.
Aura is a 100% acrylic, low-VOC interior paint that uses a breakthrough proprietary technology called ColorLock, a waterborne colorant that reinforces and improves the richness of the paint. Saving time and money, Aura paints are self-priming in most cases, and provide a tighter film that reduces water penetration and color rub off. Support Services Relocated to 1817 Second Street
Shipping and Receiving, formerly known as Receiving 1 and located south of Hearst Avenue, has been moved to 1817 Second Street (north of Hearst Avenue). The relocation effectively consolidates all our support services. These services include:
- Shipping and Receiving
- Dispatch
- Special Order Product Warehouses
- Truitt & White Door Shop
