Window Spotlight: Integrity Wood-Ultrex® Windows And Doors

Integrity

Integrity utilizes pine in the manufacture of Wood-Ultrex windows and patio doors, a resource not associated with rainforests. Integrity purchases from reliable raw lumber suppliers with sound forest management practices.

Ultrex: Stylish & Reliable Fiberglass

One of the key components to our sustainability initiatives is our patented Ultreex

pultruded fiberglass construction material. It's made from silica sand-a safe and abundant natural resource-and takes considerably less energy to create than most other window and door materials. And because Ultrex is built to last considerably longer than vinyl and aluminum windows, the energy that does go into its creation is put to more efficient use.

Ultrex is produced in the only pultrusion facility to completely comply with the Environmental Protection Agency's 1990 Clean Air Act, and has been designated a MACT (Maximum Achievable Control Technology) facility. 95% of Volatile Organic Compounds created during the manufacturing process are destroyed.
